I have always kept a sketchbook and enjoyed the opportunity when I could illustrate my own articles. Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, I discovered artists like Saul Steinberg, Jules Feiffer, and Charles Addams in my grandmothers pile of The New Yorker issues. Their ability to write and draw elevated cartoons into an art form. That remains inspirational to me today. These selections range from personal to professional projects.
