Terracotta
is a women-led lifestyle brand that blends modern design with curated ritual to create an elevated experience. After launching last year, the brand needed refreshed marketing collateral to support its next phase of growth. The strategy focused on two goals: clarify the brand narrative and produce new visuals for media outreach and business development. In addition to organizing brand documents and developing a stronger content strategy, I advised on leads with potential retailers, partners, and vendors.

A content audit revealed that existing photography focused heavily on product shots and lacked the lifestyle element needed to connect with audiences. The founder wanted to draw inspiration from the fashion industry to differentiate the brand in a crowded market. To address this, we produced a campaign that featured collaborations with fashion influencers and artists, who both promoted the original content and created new work of their own. The resulting videos, film stills, and illustrations captured the story of creative professionals living and working in New York, infusing the brand with cultural relevance and personality.

This campaign both elevated the brand’s image and strengthened its market presence. Relationships developed through the project expanded its reach, growing the online audience and directly introducing the brand to new customers.

Inspired by foreign cinema, photographer Kumo Shai captured a stylish nail artist enjoying brunch after a morning at the farmers market. Complementing the photography is a series of Matisse-influenced artworks.
